Fast Transfer Allowance is a limit that controls how much USDC can be processed through Fast Transfer at a given time.
Fast Transfer prioritizes transfers that request Fast Transfer, but it has a shared capacity limit, so only a certain amount of USDC can be processed at once, especially during busy periods. This limit helps keep transfers safe and reliable.
If the Fast Transfer Allowance is at its limit, it is temporarily maxed:
If there isn’t enough allowance when you submit the transfer, Fast Transfer will show as unavailable. You can either wait and try again or continue as a standard transfer.
If you request Fast Transfer but the allowance becomes unavailable while your transfer is being processed, the system will automatically revert back to a standard transfer (waiting for full finality) and complete at standard speed.
You will NOT be charged a Fast Transfer fee if your transaction proceeds as a standard transfer.
Allowance availability updates dynamically based on current transfer demand.
If Fast Transfer capacity was unavailable:
Your transaction will show as delayed.
It will complete at standard transfer speed.
You will not see a Fast Transfer fee applied if the faster delivery speed was not used.
If your transaction was automatically switched to standard transfer, no action is required.
If Fast Transfer is unavailable and you prefer faster speeds, you can:
Wait a few minutes and check again.
Continue with a standard transfer.
