Your Circle Mint account has limits on the amount of USDC you are able to mint or redeem on a weekly basis. Your limits depend on your account type, and the level of information you have provided. You can view your account's specific limits using the steps detailed here.

Institutions are subject to our enhanced KYC process outlined here.
 

Before you request a limit increase

Be prepared to share the following information:

• Current fiat minting limit
• Current fiat redemption limit 
• Requested new fiat minting limit
• Requested new fiat redemption limit
• Reason for the request

Your reason should explain why your business needs a higher limit and how you expect to use the additional capacity.

Include details about increased activity

If your request is based on increased business activity, include details that help explain the change. For example, tell us whether your business is 

• Onboarding new clients
• Expanding existing relationships
• Entering new markets

 

Share details about new clients

If the increase request is connected to new clients, please include the 

• Client names
• Client types (may include exchanges, institutions, fintechs, or other relevant categories) 
• Geographies when applicable

 

Share details about new deals or incentives

If the increase request is connected to new deals or incentives, please include the 

• Deal structure
• Expected volume 
• Expected time horizon

 

Add supporting documentation

Include any supporting documents that help explain or verify your request, if applicable. These may include:

• Bank statements showing recent or projected cash inflows or outflows
• Forecasts or transaction flow projections that support the requested limit 
• Signed contracts, incentive agreements, or client onboarding confirmations
